An online (distributed) programming contest, offered as a drop-in replacement for so-called “qualifying” contests (e.g., school-level, pre-regional competitions). ICPC is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world. Teams of three from over 3,000 universities in 111 countries compete in local, regional, and world finals to solve real-world problems and showcase their skills.
